The Power of Diversity in Leading School Transformation - Micro-credential

The ambition of this micro-credential is to support teachers and school leaders to focus on diversity as a way of achieving more socially transformative outcomes for leaders, teachers, students and their communities. This module will help participants respond proactively and meaningfully to issues relating to diversity in a number of key ways – it will enhance participants own knowledge in order to develop a more nuanced understanding of how diversity can serve as a driver of school improvement in a variety of ways; it will stimulate more critically reflective responses to many of the current issue that emerge in schools. The module will also identify ways to enhance the quality of professional conversations in schools. The module will encourage a critical examination of how classroom practice and the curriculum itself can become the drivers of a more engaged and enjoyable education experience for all learners and those who lead and support their learning.

Entry requirements

Applicants must be over 21 years of age.

Must be a qualified teacher or be in a leadership role in a school.
