Recognition of Prior Learning

The module is suitable for education practitioners. This module provides participants with a deep understanding of the policies and procedures associated with the process of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

It will provide participants with an appreciation of the complexities associated with the management of RPL in Further and Higher Education Institutions. This module which is practically based and interactive, is aimed at developing the lecturers and other potential assessors with the knowledge and competencies to enable them to become effective assessors of RPL candidates.

Entry requirements

Minimum Entry Requirements
Level 8 Honours Degree in any discipline, or equivalent, second class honours (2.2). If you do not have an Honours degree but have relevant experience you may also be eligible to apply via Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
