TU Dublin’s innovative MBS in Retail Management is a unique specialist post-graduate degree and the only masters programme of its kind offered in the Republic of Ireland for individuals seeking to break the exciting and fast-paced retail industry. The part-time masters course is two years in duration and is delivered by an expert academic team with strong industry connections and an established reputation for developing future retail industry leaders.

This part-time masters course is suited to those working in the retail or services industry who wish to deepen their understanding of retail business processes, and broaden their perspective on retail management with a view to improving their career prospects. Students are exposed to the latest thinking and the newest developments in retail management and technology with an intense week long Retail Symposium in January and an International Retail Study Tour Week in early Summer making this course a career-compatible and applied masters.

Entry requirements

Minimum Entry Requirements?
NFQ Level 8 Business Graduates (Minimum award 2.2) or Non-Business Graduates (Minimum award 2.1),or holders of equivalent professional qualifications. Applicants with considerable and relevant retail experience will also be considered. The MBS is particularly suited to those who wish to pursue a career in retailing, deepen their understanding of retail business processes, and broaden their perspective on retail management. All applications will be assessed on their own merit. The MBS has been host to students from diverse cultures, including the UK, Holland, France, Bulgaria, Canada, India, China and Vietnam who contribute to the richness of the educational experience. The course is conducted in English so a strong working knowledge of English (Minimum 6.5 IELTS or equivalent) is required.

Note: Due to the considerable competition for our postgraduate courses satisfying the minimum entry requirement is not a guarantee of a place. Depending on the course of study applications will be assessed based on your academic grades and may also take into account your work/life experience. Applicants may also be required to attend for interview for specific courses.
