Software Design with Digitalisation - Athlone

Driven by the increasing availability and affordability of digital technologies, digitalisation refers to the process of using digital technology to transform traditional business process. The shift towards digitalisation has brought about several advantages, including increased efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of information. One of the most significant benefits of digitalisation is the ability to store and retrieve large amounts of data quickly and easily. This is particularly important for businesses that rely on data to make informed decisions. Additionally, digitalisation has enabled companies to streamline their processes, reducing costs and increasing productivity. Digitalisation also provides greater flexibility and accessibility, allowing individuals to access information from anywhere and at any time, as long as they have an Internet connection. This masters programme will enable the students to operate in innovative market sectors in order to develop, implement and evaluate digital strategies using the enhanced capability of Internet of Things based connected devices.

Entry requirements

Applicants should hold a 4-year honours degree in software design or an equivalent qualification with a minimum grade of 2.1 (60%).



International Applications

International applicants should apply directly to the International Office at TUS, allowing plenty of time for completing the visa process. Applications for September start should be made by 1st June at the latest to ensure visas are processed in time. You should familiarise yourself with visa processing times for your country of origin to ensure you make a timely application.
