Strategic People Management - Sligo
The aim of this programme is to support the development of knowledge, skills, and competencies relevant and useful to HR professionals and non-HR professionals already in or aspiring to HR or other roles that involve working with, managing or leading people in organisations. Key areas covered include the World of Work, Resourcing and Talent Management, Personal and Professional Effectiveness, Strategic HRM, Strategic Reward Management, Strategic Employee Relations, Advanced Diversity and Inclusion and Advanced Employment Law.

Professionals already working in or aspiring to work in HR roles. Also, non-HR professionals who are involved in working with, managing or leading people in organisations.

This programme is open to applicants with an Honours Degree (Level 8), with evidence of a 2.2 or higher. Candidates who do not meet the above are also welcome and may apply through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

When to Apply
Flexible learning courses are popular, and they fill on a first come, first served basis. There are two major intake periods throughout the academic year, September and January.
For January start courses, applications typically open in October, and for September start courses, applications typically open in February. Closing dates for applications are listed on the individual course webpages.

Duration
1.5 years part-time, online.
Study Hours
18 hours per week over two semesters. This includes two nights of online lectures from 6-9pm on each night and 12 hours of independent learning.

Progressive Pathways
Many of our Masters programmes are structured in a way that includes recognised entry and exit awards. This means that you can apply for part of Masters first and learn at your own pace or if you are unable to complete the full programme, you can still gain a recognised qualification. Our entry and exit awards typically include Postgraduate Certificate award and a Postgraduate Diploma award.
