Air Leakage Tester / Ventilation Validation Assessor

Role Overview
We are seeking ambitious and motivated individuals to join our team as a Trainee Air Tightness Tester & Ventilation Validator. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in modern construction methods, building compliance, and energy performance.
Full training will be provided, with a clear pathway to becoming a qualified Air Tightness Tester and Ventilation Validator. There are also opportunities to expand into BER (Building Energy Rating) and broader energy consultancy roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out air tightness testing and ventilation validation in line with current building regulations
- Travel to sites and conduct testing on residential and commercial projects
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and on-site personnel
- Identify and report issues, providing practical recommendations where required
- Ensure accurate data collection and reporting
Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- Strong computer skills
- Full driving licence
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently on construction sites
- Clear communication skills and a proactive attitude
Desirable:
- Minimum Level 6 qualification in Construction, Engineering, or Science (energy/sustainability preferred)
- Knowledge of Building Regulations (Part L & Part F)
- Experience with Office, CAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar (training provided)
- Strong time management, planning, and organisational skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
