– Forestry & Wood Products
Forest Sector Advisors is an international strategic
advisory firm focused on the global forest, wood products, decorative surfaces,
biomaterials, chemicals, packaging and natural capital sectors.
We advise industry leaders, private equity firms, investors
and corporate clients on strategic, commercial and operational questions across
international markets.
We are looking to recruit an Analyst to support market
intelligence, cost competitiveness analysis and strategic advisory projects.
The Role
The Analyst will work directly with senior advisors and be
supported in developing their skills through practical consulting assignments
delivering international projects, with a particular focus on:

Market analysis and industry intelligence
·
Cost competitiveness modelling
·
Strategic benchmarking and competitor analysis
·
Value chain and supply chain analysis
·
Company profiling and market mapping
·
Financial and operational data analysis
·
Primary and secondary market research
·
Preparation of presentations, reports and client
deliverables
·
Support for strategic advisory and commercial due diligence
assignments
·
Climate, ESG and carbon.
The role is highly analytical and suited to candidates who
enjoy combining quantitative analysis with strategic and commercial thinking.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for candidates with:
·
A university degree in economics, business, finance,
forestry, engineering or any numerate discipline.
·
Relevant industry experience is desirable but not
essential.
·
Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.
·
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
·
Ability to structure, analyse and interpret complex
datasets.
·
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
·
High attention to detail.
·
Ability to work independently in a remote and international
environment
Fluent English is essential C1 level minimum. Additional
European language capabilities such as Spanish, German, French, Italian or
Polish would be considered a strong advantage.
Exposure to the forest products, wood-based panels,
decorative surfaces, or broader forest industry sectors, is desirable but not
essential.
