Assistant Quantity Surveyor & Estimator

Currently seeking to employ a newly qualified graduate or a graduate on the part time course studying Construction Economics.  Medium sized Tier 3 Construction Company with in house Quantity Surveyor and Estimator, requires a motivated, driven assistant, to help and to learn all the basic and fundamental elements from Tendering, Pre-Contract negotiations and Post Contract Management, Monthly Valuations, Variations Assessments, re-measurement and computation of Final Accounts.

Head office and Site office based position.

Microsoft 365 Business suite of programmes essential, experience with Buildsoft, helpful.

Candidate will be required to work on own initiative and have good communication skills.

Further education and training will be encouraged and assistance provided, where appropriate. 

Previous experience or placement with a Main Contractor preferred, but not essential.
