The Opportunity
We are seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Trinity College Dublin student to work directly with the founder of Discover Vend on business development, strategic partnerships and growth initiatives.
This is a hands-on opportunity to help shape the growth of an early-stage technology business, with exposure to real commercial decisions, customer relationships and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Research and identify opportunities to place Discover Vend solutions in residential developments, offices, universities and commercial properties.
- Strategic Partnerships: Support outreach to property developers, management companies, retail operators and potential distribution partners.
- Market Research: Analyze the Irish and international automated retail markets, competitors and emerging consumer trends.
- Growth Strategy: Help develop scalable business models, commercial proposals and market-entry opportunities.
- Sales & Marketing: Assist with pitch presentations, promotional materials, lead generation and customer engagement.
- Commercial Analysis: Support financial modeling, location assessments and evaluation of potential retail installations.
- Product Development: Gather customer and market feedback to inform the evolution of Discover Vend’s retail technology and service offering.
Who We’re Looking For
We would particularly welcome applications from students studying Business, Economics, Management, Marketing, Data sciences or related disciplines.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Commercial curiosity
- Confidence in researching opportunities and engaging with potential partners
- Strong organizational skills and initiative
- An interest in technology, innovation and business growth
Previous startup experience is not required.
