Programme Overview

Sysco’s Business Graduate Programme is your chance to immerse yourself in the world of foodservice and see how one of Ireland’s leading food companies operates. You will rotate through different departments, get hands-on training, and learn from the people who keep Ireland’s food moving, from farm to fork. If you have ambition, curiosity and a love of food, this is your opportunity to grow, innovate and make your mark. The programme is offered at Sysco Ireland locations including Limerick, Dublin and Cork.

Work at the Heart of Ireland’s Food Scene

Sysco keeps food moving, offering next-day delivery to restaurants, hotels, stadiums, festivals and food trucks. If you grabbed a burger at a summer festival or ate in your college canteen, you more than likely tasted Sysco-supplied food.

The two-year Business Graduate Programme is your inside track into how Ireland’s leading foodservice business operates. You will rotate across key areas, including New Product Development, Sustainability, Customer Success, Merchandising and Strategic Development, with exposure to international projects and markets, gaining hands-on experience and global industry know-how that will set you apart.

Graduates have the opportunity to join IMI’s Graduate Development Programme to equip them with the skills and tools needed to develop within Sysco Ireland. Because only a select number of graduates are taken on, you will enjoy unparalleled exposure to senior leaders, exciting projects and the chance to make a genuine impact from the start. The programme lets graduates drive innovation and deliver real, impactful change in the business, and many go on to senior roles.

It’s not all work: you can join Sports & Social activities, from bake-offs to interfirm soccer and charity fundraisers, enjoy the legendary “Bun Club”, and get to know colleagues at Sysco Socials.

Requirements

• 2:1 or above (realised or predicted) in a relevant Business degree
• A solid understanding of, and demonstrated interest in, business
• Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
• Self-starter with a high level of motivation and agility
• Strong commercial awareness and career motivation
• Available to start in September 2027
• Full clean driving licence and access to your own transport
