Casual Event Staff – London Concertante at Cork City Hall

London Concertante is looking for ushers to support our Candlelight Concerts at Cork City Hall.

London Concertante is a chamber ensemble based in London, performing in historic and unique venues across the UK. Our Candlelight Concerts combine live classical music with atmospheric candlelight to create an engaging and memorable experience for audiences.

Event details

Concert: A Night at the Opera by Candlelight
Date: Sunday 20 September 2026
Location: Cork City Hall
Shift: 4.45pm–8.45pm (concert 6pm–8pm)
Dress code: All black (smart casual, including shoes)
Pay: €14.15 per hour

The role

We are looking for friendly, reliable people to help support the smooth running of the concert. Duties may include:

• Supporting the setup of the event space

• Welcoming and assisting audience members

• Checking tickets and helping with seating

• Answering audience queries and providing directions

• Supporting the front-of-house team before, during and after the concert

• Helping ensure audiences have a safe and enjoyable experience

Anyone aged 18+ is welcome to apply.

We are looking for people with good customer service skills and a positive attitude. An interest in music and/or live events is a great added bonus, but is not essential.
