Job Description:

Chatteris Tutors are placed full-time in local Hong Kong schools to help improve students’ English language proficiency. By creating a lively and supportive English-speaking environment, they motivate students to learn and use English every day. Working closely with local English teaching staff, our tutors plan and deliver exciting, engaging lessons. They also organise interactive workshops, targeted tutorials, and experiential learning activities that complement the school curriculum and strengthen students’ confidence and English language skills.

Details:

  • Contract: Full-time, 9 months, with the opportunity to extend

  • Start date: 10 August 2027 

  • End date: 31 May 2028

  • Salary: HK$18,500 per month (typically tax-free for first-year tutors)

  • Holidays: Hong Kong public holidays, Christmas, Lunar New Year and Easter holidays


What do we expect from you?

  • A university degree in any discipline

  • Native-level English proficiency, or English competence at C1 level or above, in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

  • A genuine interest in working with children or teenagers

  • A proactive and creative mindset

  • Cultural awareness and a willingness to embrace diverse perspectives

  • As this is an international graduate opportunity, prior teaching experience or qualifications such as TEFL or TESOL are not required.
