Purpose of the role
The role of the Clinical Placement Coordinator is to support and guide pre-registration nursing students and staff in assigned clinical areas to ensure that the clinical placements meet the requirements of the education programme with regard to planned experiences and learning outcomes. The post holder will also have responsibility for promoting nursing practice development initiatives and facilitating implementation of evidenced-based practice in collaboration with all grades of nursing staff.
