Creative Art Camp Tutor

Inspireland runs Art & Animation Camps for children and teens aged 8–18 across Ireland. Our camps focus on creativity, visual storytelling, animation, illustration and hands-on art-making in a structured and supportive environment.

We work with artists, educators, and creative practitioners who are passionate about helping young people explore their creativity and build confidence through the arts.

Role Overview

Art Camp Tutors support the delivery of our creative workshops, guiding students through structured art and animation activities while helping to maintain a safe, positive and well-organised camp environment.

Tutors work as part of a small team and play an important role in supporting students, managing materials and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of camp sessions.

Each group will have a Lead Tutor, who oversees demonstrations, time management, classroom organisation and attendance.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting and guiding students during structured art and animation workshops

• Helping maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

• Assisting with materials preparation and classroom organisation

• Supporting the Lead Tutor during demonstrations and activities

• Helping ensure sessions run smoothly and on schedule

Who we’re looking for

We welcome applications from individuals who:

• Have experience working with children or young people

• Are confident managing groups in structured settings

• Demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills

• Understand the importance of safeguarding and health & safety

• Have a background or strong interest in art, animation, illustration, design or education

This role is particularly suitable for art and design students, animation students, education students, or recent graduates looking to gain practical experience working in a creative learning environment.

Camps take place during Easter and Summer school holidays at locations across Ireland.
