Reporting to the Chief information
Security Officer
Contract
type: Permanent contract (6-month
probationary period)
Closing
date: Friday 1 of May 2026
Based in the Risk
Management department within Dublin Bus, the successful candidate will report
to the Chief Information Security Officer
The successful
candidate will work as part of Risk Management to provide support for the daily
activities of the information security team. They will contribute to
initiatives aimed at enhancing cyber threat awareness across the organisation.

Applications
are invited from candidates who have:
- Bachelor’s
degree or an interest in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity,
or a related field (or relevant certifications/experience). (Desirable) - Interest
in obtaining industry certifications such as Security+, CEH, or similar. - Basic
understanding of cybersecurity concepts, vulnerabilities, and risk management. - Strong
verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey security
concepts to non-technical audiences. - Detail-oriented
with a problem-solving mindset. - Ability
to work collaboratively in a team and take initiative in expanding
cybersecurity knowledge. - Willingness
to undertake and complete a formal training program.
