• Develop and maintain detailed CAD drawings, site layouts, and technical schematics in
line with client and regulatory requirements.

• Support the preparation of planning application drawings, construction documentation,
and technical specifications.

• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.

• Coordinate with GIS teams to produce accurate site plans, constraint mapping, and
spatial analysis.

• Liaise with clients, planning authorities, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary
teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Ensure designs comply with relevant national and international standards, codes of
practice, and health & safety regulations.

• Assist with quality control and review of drawings and documentation produced by
junior team members.

• Support tender preparation, cost estimation, and technical reports as required.

• Keep up to date with industry developments in renewable energy, telecom, and utility
design practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 2+ years' experience in a design engineering role, ideally within renewables, telecoms,
or utility infrastructure.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit, QGIS, and BIM.

• Familiarity with renewable energy design tools (e.g. WindPro) is a plus.

• Understanding of Irish and/or UK planning processes and construction documentation
requirements.

• Strong technical drawing and drafting skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently across technical and
non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• A collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues across
CAD and GIS functions.

Desirable

• Exposure to architectural visualisation tools (e.g. SketchUp, Autocad 3D, 3Ds Max,
Blender, etc).
• Prior experience in infrastructure design and developments.

What We Offer

• Exposure to a diverse portfolio of renewable energy, telecom, and grid infrastructure
projects across Ireland and the UK.

• Opportunities for professional developments.

• A collaborative team environment with scope for technical growth.

• Competitive salary and benefits package.
