Internship Role: Digital Marketing Intern

We are seeking a marketing intern to support the full digital marketing lifecycle, from awareness and content, through to web traffic, lead capture, and conversion into course bookings and B2B enquiries. This is a hands-on role with significant ownership, suited to a student who wants real responsibility, real output, and a portfolio of work by the end of the placement.

Key Areas of Responsibility

A. Social Media & Content Creation

  • Production: Capturing behind-the-scenes content from our city-centre school and mobile training units,  student stories, latte-art moments, and on-the-road footage from secondary schools and partner programmes.

  • Platform Strategy: Managing day-to-day content for Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, with a focus on short-form video, alumni features, and content tailored to each audience (career changers, hospitality teams, corporate clients).

  • Community Growth: Tracking trends in the Irish coffee, hospitality, and education space to keep Dublin Barista School at the centre of the conversation.

B. Website, SEO & Course Pages

  • Course Page Optimisation: Reviewing and improving our course landing pages to make them clearer, more persuasive, and easier to book from.

  • SEO: Researching keywords relevant to barista training in Ireland and producing content that drives organic traffic and course enquiries.

  • Funnel Analysis: Tracking how visitors move from social media and search to enquiry and booking, and suggesting content-led improvements to remove friction.

C. Email Marketing & CRM

  • Campaign Execution: Designing and drafting email newsletters for prospective students, alumni, and B2B contacts.

  • Lifecycle Marketing: Building automated flows - enquiry follow-ups, pre-course welcome series, post-course alumni journeys, and re-engagement campaigns.

  • Segmentation: Grouping our audience by interest area - career barista training, secondary schools, government-funded learners, charity programmes, corporate team-building, to deliver more relevant content.

D. Marketing & Advertising Campaigns

  • Campaign Planning: Working with the team to plan and run paid and organic campaigns around course intakes, corporate offerings, and seasonal moments.

  • Paid Social & Search: Supporting the build, launch, and reporting of campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and Google.

  • Reporting: Producing simple, clear reports on what is working - reach, engagement, traffic, leads, and bookings,  to inform the next round of activity.

Working Environment

The intern will be based in our Dublin city-centre school, with occasional opportunities to travel with our mobile training units to see training delivered on the ground in schools, community programmes, and corporate settings. They will work closely with the founder and senior team, with significant creative autonomy and a clear line of sight from idea to launch.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student who wants to come out of an internship with a real portfolio of campaigns, content, and measurable results, working inside a growing Irish brand at one of the most exciting moments in its journey.
