Document Generation Specialist
We are looking for a Document Generation Specialist to join a team creating realistic, multi-stage documents for a structured, scenario-based project. This role is focused on generating documents that reflect real-world drafting, collaboration, revision, and finalisation across a range of use cases, including business, research, career, academic, and personal content.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Microsoft Word, comfortable using Microsoft Copilot as a drafting aid, and able to manually refine content so it feels authentic, well-structured, and believable as real working documents.
The work includes creating documents at different stages of development, from rough draft to polished final version.
What you will do
- Work within a production environment with defined daily output targets.
- Create original documents that simulate real-world work in progress and completed deliverables
- Develop documents across multiple stages, including early draft, mid-stage, and finished versions
- Build documents that reflect realistic collaboration, including comments, tracked changes, formatting inconsistencies, and polished final cleanup where appropriate
- Produce a range of document types such as reports, proposals, meeting summaries, technical documentation, resumes, essays, itineraries, forms, playbooks, and similar materials
- Apply advanced features to add structure and realism, including styles, heading levels, lists, tables, links, headers and footers, page and section breaks, references, images, and markup
- Follow project conventions for file naming, organization, and delivery tracking
What we are looking for
- Strong Document skills, including formatting, layout control, styles, tables, headers and footers, lists, and document structure
- Experience working with tracked changes, comments, and collaborative editing states
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading ability
- Ability to create documents that feel realistic rather than overly clean or templated
- Comfort working across different document types, tones, and subject areas
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined content and formatting guidelines.

- Fluent, professional written English
- Strong attention to detail and editing ability
- Ability to work efficiently and produce multiple document sets per day # Comfortable working within structured workflows and defined output targets
- Ability to balance speed with authenticity — documents must feel real, not over-polished
Preferred
- Experience in editorial, content production, or document-based roles
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment

- This is a hybrid role (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
- Candidates must have the legal right to work in Ireland.
- Office location is Cork, Ireland.
Preferred background
Candidates with experience in document production, editorial work, content operations, technical writing, or structured content creation will be especially relevant. This role is better suited to someone with strong execution and document realism skills than to a generic copywriter. That follows directly from the project’s emphasis on staged drafts, collaborative markup, formatting complexity, and Word-specific technical attributes. This role suits individuals who are detail-oriented, structured, and comfortable working at pace in a production environment
