Senior Early Years Educator (Full-Time)
Macroom Family Resource Centre (MFRC) is delighted to invite applications from our existing team for the position of Senior Early Years Educator.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate, experienced, and motivated educator who is ready to take the next step in their career. We are looking for someone who can inspire others, lead by example, and help us continue to provide exceptional care and education for children and families within our community.
About the Role
As a Senior Early Years Educator, you will play a key leadership role by:
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues to achieve the highest standards of practice.
- Leading the implementation of quality early years education in line with Aistear, Síolta, and Tusla regulations.
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and the wider team.
- Supporting curriculum planning, observations, and children's learning and development.
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment where both children and staff can thrive.
- Working closely with management to support the continued growth and success of the service.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in an early years setting.
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education.
- A Level 7 qualification is desirable; however, we welcome applications from experienced staff with other relevant qualifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude, strong initiative, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
- A genuine passion for supporting children, families, and colleagues.
