Early Years Educator

The Nest Creche is looking for students or graduates to join our team in a variety of roles, including permanent or short term opportunities, with full-time and part-time positions available. Candidates who join us over the summer months may have the opportunity to continue working with us, subject to availability and performance.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must have a Minimum level 5 qualification in childcare, or be a current student having successfully completed their first year of study in childcare, including the required professional practice placement. • Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
• Will have, or wish to develop, excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Will preferably have knowledge of Aistear and Siolta.
• Will have the ability to be flexible & work as a team player.

Role:

• Prepare and implement Curiculum plans (long-term, medium-term, short-term) based on children's interests and needs, linking with Aistear & Siolta.
• Comply with regulatory standards as set by TUSLA.
• Engage positively with children, families and work colleagues.
• Mantain classroom and equipment to ensure health and safety of the children at all times.
• Perform any reasonable duties that may be assigned time to time.
