Greenfields Childcare in Lisnamult, Roscommon is currently recruiting for two exciting positions to join our friendly and supportive team.

Early Years Educator – Maternity Leave Cover

• Full-time fixed-term position
• Maternity leave cover (subject to extension)

We are seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to support children’s learning and development in a positive and inclusive early years setting.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a genuine love for working with children
• Be kind, positive and a strong team player
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be flexible and willing to support across the service when needed
• Have knowledge of Aistear and Síolta
• Be committed to delivering high-quality early years care and education

Requirements:

• Minimum QQI Level 5 in Early Childhood Care & Education
• Previous experience in an early years setting desirable
• Garda Vetting required
• First Aid, Children First and Manual Handling training desirable

Afterschool Educator

• Part-time afternoon hours

We are also recruiting an energetic and enthusiastic Afterschool Educator to join our growing afterschool team.

This role involves supporting school-aged children in a fun, safe and engaging environment.

The role includes:

• Supervising and engaging with children after school
• Assisting with homework and activities
• Planning fun indoor and outdoor experiences
• Supporting children’s wellbeing and social development
• Working closely with the wider childcare team

The ideal candidate will:

• Enjoy working with school-aged children
• Be energetic, caring and creative
• Have strong teamwork and communication skills
• Help create a positive and inclusive environment
