GP practice nurse
Job description:
Full-time or part-time (flexible on days) | Start late August 2026
Kinsealy Medical Centre is a friendly, fully computerised (Socrates) RCSI/UCD training practice. You'll join an established team of 4 GPs, a GP registrar, practice manager, phlebotomists and full admin support.
The role: phlebotomy, ECGs, 24-hr ABPM, immunisations, and Chronic Disease Management reviews.
You: Registered General Nurse (NMBI) with high proficiency in phlebotomy. Practice nurse experience desirable; experienced hospital or community nurses moving into general practice equally welcome. As a teaching practice, we will also consider an exceptional recently qualified nurse with a strong clinical foundation and a genuine interest in general practice — full mentorship and a structured, funded upskilling pathway provided (childhood immunisations, CDM, cervical screening).
We offer: €26–32 per hour depending on experience (c. €51,000–63,000 full-time equivalent), no nights/weekends/on-call, paid CPD leave, free onsite parking, and a supportive team environment in a teaching practice. Full-time preferred, but we're happy to consider part-time hours or a job-share for the right candidate(s).
Apply with CV and a brief cover note (a few lines on why general practice appeals to you, and why Kinsealy) by Thursday 30 July 2026.
