We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Graduate Engineer to join our high performing team.

REPORTING TO: General Manager

LOCATION: Based in Blanchardstown, Dublin. Candidates from NI are welcome to apply but must be willing to commute.

CONTRACT TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

HOURS: Monday – Friday

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the site management team to ensure that the project is able to be completed on-time and in budget.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, drawings, calculations, risk assessments and method statements.
  • Assisting with the drawing output for completed conceptual or detailed design.
  • Attending sites to undertake physical and intrusive investigations including ground investigations, building surveys, and structure surveys.
  • Conduct any liaison or consultation with statutory authorities or undertakers as necessary.
  • to implement the construction of the project.
  • Assist in the preparation of the construction and environmental method statements and other documentation as required in the project planning conditions.
  • Provide design and construction documentation as required by the project, including conducting site surveys and inspections.
  • Project management of the tasks and deliverables required as part of the design packages during preconstruction and construction stage.
  • Conduct technical inspections of structures, formations and other civil / structural elements of a project as required.
  • Undertake inspections, examinations and scoping visits with the client.
  • Conduct the design and supervision of civil or structural remedial works as demanded by a project.
  • Assist project managers and site staff in evaluating 3rd party designs and construction methods.

Candidate

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Candidate should be a recent graduate with a degree level (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant subject area such as Civil Engineering.
  • Practical site experience gained as part of a placement or paid employment.
  • Strong IT experience with MS Office and other relevant software such as AutoCAD.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to relay complex information in clear manner.
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage workload and prioritise competing tasks.
  • Possess attention to detail, and diligent with standards of work.

  • All candidates should have the legal right or a valid permit to that enables them to work in the Republic of Ireland.
