What You Will Do For Us

As a Graduate Mechatronic Engineer, you will:

  • Apply a proactive, structured approach to troubleshooting production issues related to PLCs and software-driven systems.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement improvements across safety, quality, productivity, and environmental performance.
  • Support and deliver engineering projects, including:
    • Process modifications
    • Automation and software enhancements
    • Traceability systems
    • Equipment and system upgrades
  • Collaborate with contractors and external partners to implement automated solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing site.

What We're Looking For

Education

  • 2025 or 2026 graduate with an Honours Degree in Mechatronic Engineering.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of industrial automation, electrical systems, and instrumentation.
  • Basic PLC or industrial programming knowledge.
  • A collaborative mindset and the confidence to work across multiple teams and functions.

Experience

  • Experience working in team-based, solution-focused environments.
  • Exposure to automated manufacturing systems (through projects, placements, or internships) is an advantage.

Travel

  • Up to 5% regional travel may be required.
