Graduate Food Specification Technologist
Duties:
- Customer Specifications: Manage and prepare customer product specifications with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate Updates: Liaise with teams across different departments to gather up-to-date information and ensure all specifications are completed correctly.
- Assist with Queries: Handle customer queries related to specifications and ensure updates are communicated clearly.
- Documentation Support: Ensure all necessary documentation, such as artwork and certifications, is properly attached and up to date and managed.
- Support R&D Projects: Assist the product development and artwork teams with administrative tasks and other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Recent graduate with a degree in a relevant field such as science, food technology, or similar.
- Food legislation, labelling and quality standards (HACCP BRC preferred)
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data management tools is essential.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Attitude: Eagerness to learn, ability to work well within a team and alone, a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Hands-on Learning: Gain practical experience in a fast-paced industry while working closely with experienced professionals. 2-3 months training provided.
- Skill Development: Develop key skills in project coordination, data management, and customer communication, all within a supportive team.
- Growth Potential: This role offers plenty of room for development, with clear pathways for progression within the R&D and other departments.
This is a fixed term position for one year with the potential to extend. Commencing January 2026 (date to be confirmed).
