The Central Statistics Office (CSO) is Ireland’s National Statistical Office, whose purpose is to impartially collect, analyse, and make available statistics about Ireland’s people, society, and economy. CSO official statistics inform decision making across a range of areas including construction, health, welfare, the environment, and the economy.
Graduate Programme for 2026/2027
The CSO is seeking dynamic and talented individuals to become part of our Graduate Programme for 2026/2027. We have opportunities in the following areas:
- Statistics/Economics/Data Analysis
- Digital Marketing
- Project Management
The CSO operates from three locations, with the headquarters in Cork and two offices in Dublin, located in Rathmines and Swords.
Graduates appointed from this competition may be assigned for a specific period (9 months), commencing in September 2026, to complete a project in the CSO or in other Government Departments/Agencies, within the broader National Statistical System.
