Description
The successful candidate will join the Technical team as a junior team member on a structured two-year Graduate Programme. The role will develop core technical and commercial skills through involvement in managing the company’s global engine fleet, liaising with existing and potential customers on technical matters, obtaining and updating technical records, and providing technical support to other departments within the organisation.
Role Responsibilities
- Asset Management - Assist the team with monitoring assigned engine assets on lease, in repair or in storage. Liaise with customers, engine manufacturers, MRO facilities, aviation authorities and external agencies on delivery and redelivery, inspections, maintenance, warranty, shipping and storage, and other technical aspects of engine management.
- Project Management - Support the relevant technical team with lease delivery and redelivery activity, off-lease storage, transportation, maintenance planning, and cost control for assigned engine assets as required.
- Technical Records Management - Collate, review and archive engine technical records packages in a timely and accurate manner to ensure full traceability, compliance with aviation authority requirements, and alignment with expected market standards.
- Maintain Technical Databases - Update technical databases for the various engine types utilised by the company, with particular focus on the company engine management control system, airworthiness directive requirements, key service bulletins, and maintenance costs and intervals.
- Regional Office Secondment – Participate in a secondment to a regional office outside headquarters to gain exposure to local market activity, customer engagement, and support regional technical operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by the Technical Manager and the CTO.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential
- Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering, or qualified aircraft/powerplant engineer status with an EASA/FAA Part 145 company approval for a commercial turbofan engine.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Desired
- Good working knowledge of engine technical records requirements, experience with engine record keeping, and familiarity with ongoing EASA and FAA records certification industry standards.
- General familiarisation or type rating training for new generation aircraft/engines.
- Prior involvement in areas such as project management, team leadership, coding, data analysis or business.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Proven ability to use own initiative and perform in a professional and composed manner in a pressurised environment.
