Role Description:


We are looking for a Graduate Scheduler to join GagaMuller. You will collaborate with experienced, diverse, and passionate teams while developing your career within Project Controls and Planning. This graduate opportunity has been designed to provide structured training, mentoring, and practical project experience from day one.

Working alongside experienced Schedulers, Schedule Leads, Project Managers, and multidisciplinary project teams, you will gain exposure to planning, scheduling, programme management, project controls, and project delivery on some of Europe's most advanced data centre developments.

The Opportunity


Based in our Dublin office, the Graduate Scheduler will support the Planning and Project Controls team in developing, monitoring, and maintaining project programmes across major construction and digital infrastructure projects throughout Ireland and Europe.

Working closely with Project Managers, Design Teams, Construction Teams, Commercial Teams, Contractors, and Schedule Leads, you will receive structured mentoring while developing your understanding of project scheduling, programme analysis, reporting, critical path methodology, and project controls.

This role provides an excellent foundation for graduates looking to build a career in Project Controls, Planning, and Programme Management while working on large-scale international construction projects. As your experience develops, there may also be opportunities to support projects across Europe.


Responsibilities


1. Scope & Delivery Management


  • Assist with the development, maintenance, and monitoring of project schedules throughout planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
  • Support programme updates and track progress against project milestones.
  • Assist in reviewing contractor programme submissions and schedule updates.
  • Learn how to identify critical path activities, schedule risks, delays, and recovery opportunities.
  • Support integration of design, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities into the overall project programme.

2. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work closely with Project Managers, Design Teams, Construction Teams, Commercial Teams, and contractor planning teams.
  • Participate in planning meetings, programme reviews, and coordination workshops.
  • Support communication of project schedules, milestones, and programme updates.
  • Assist with coordinating programme information across multiple project disciplines.
  • Build strong working relationships across multidisciplinary project teams.

3. Risk & Compliance Management

  • Support identification of programme risks and potential project delays.
  • Assist with delay analysis, event tracking, and schedule impact assessments.
  • Learn how to review programme changes and assess schedule impacts.
  • Support compliance with planning standards, governance procedures, and project reporting requirements.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate planning records and project documentation.


4. Reporting & Documentation 


  • Prepare weekly and monthly planning reports, dashboards, and project updates.
  • Maintain programme records, action trackers, delay logs, and change registers.
  • Support preparation of look-ahead programmes, milestone reports, and planning presentations.
  • Assist with project reporting for internal and client stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate planning documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

5. Collaboration & Integration

  • Work collaboratively with Project Controls, Construction, Commercial, BIM, Design, and Commissioning teams.
  • Learn how planning integrates with cost management, construction delivery, commissioning, and project reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Planning and Project Controls team.
  • Promote a proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
  • Develop your technical and professional skills through mentoring and practical project experience.



Qualifications

  • Recently completed or currently completing an NFQ Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong interest in Project Controls, Planning, Scheduling, and Construction Management.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Exposure to Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, or Power BI is advantageous but not essential


What Experience We Are Looking For

  • Recent graduate or up to 2 years' experience within Construction, Engineering, Project Controls, or Planning.
  • Placement, internship, university project, or graduate experience within the construction industry is desirable.
  • An interest in Project Planning, Scheduling, and Programme Management.
  • Basic understanding of construction project lifecycles and project delivery.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, or Power BI is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within a collaborative project environment.
