About the Opportunity
GoSkyHy is seeking a Community & Traveler Experience Intern to support community growth and help create a positive experience for travelers and users on the platform. This is a paid, remote, part-time internship offering hands-on experience in community management, user engagement, travel marketing, customer experience, and startup operations.
The intern will work closely with the founding team to develop and support community initiatives ahead of GoSkyHy's broader platform and marketplace launch.
Responsibilities
- Help build and grow GoSkyHy's traveler, student, and local communities.
- Engage with travelers, students, creators, and community members through online channels.
- Research travel groups, university communities, clubs, events, and organizations for potential outreach.
- Support community campaigns, activities, and online or offline events.
- Help encourage users to participate, share experiences, and connect with other travelers.
- Collect, organize, and communicate user feedback.
- Identify common user questions, challenges, and opportunities to improve the traveler experience.
- Assist with community outreach and potential ambassador programs.
- Research new cities, travel communities, and partnership opportunities.
- Support community-launch activities for universities and cities.
- Track outreach activities, engagement, responses, and community-growth metrics.
- Prepare simple reports and updates for the founding team.
- Suggest creative ideas for increasing community participation and user engagement.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Media, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable interacting with travelers, students, creators, and online communities.
- Good research and organizational skills.
- Basic familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, email, and social-media platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- No advanced programming skills required.

- Compensation: Approximately US$1,337 per month, based on approximately 10 hours per week, with potential performance-based bonuses.
