Role Overview:
The HR Analyst, reporting to the HR Business Partner, supports the administrative, analytical and operational HR activities within a regulated financial services environment. Working as part of a small collaborative team, this role offers broad exposure to the full employee life cycle with an emphasis on data accuracy, HR systems, reporting, and continuous process improvement.
This is a varied role that involves regular interaction with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, contribution to HR initiatives and projects, and the use of HR data and technology to support evidence‑based decision‑making. The role provides an excellent opportunity to develop capability in HR operations, analytics, and systems within a regulated environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining HR operations with data, systems, and continuous improvement, and who is motivated by making HR processes more effective through insight and technology.
About the team:
The successful candidate will join a professional HR team of three, consisting of the Head of HR, HR Business Partner, and Senior HR Associate. The team is based on‑site four days a week and works closely with the business to deliver high‑quality HR support to the Dublin workforce, aligned with our organisational values.
The team has full ownership of HR activities locally and are supported by the wider HR network within our parent organisation, providing access to additional expertise, guidance, and opportunities for collaboration. As a team, we support one another, are curious, take initiative, act with accountability, and actively look for ways to improve HR processes and our own professional development.
Main Responsibilities:
HR Administration
- Manage end‑to‑end administration of HR processes across the employee life cycle, ensuring accurate, timely, and well‑structured data is maintained at all stages.
- Maintain and continuously improve HR records within HRIS and local filing systems, ensuring data integrity, GDPR compliance, and alignment with internal policies.
- Actively monitor data quality within HR systems, identifying discrepancies, trends, or inefficiencies and proposing practical solutions.
- Manage centralised HR inboxes, responding to queries efficiently and using recurring themes to identify opportunities for process improvement or automation.
Recruitment Support
- Coordinate recruitment activities end-to-end, including posting vacancies, liaising with hiring managers and recruitment agencies, managing candidate applications, scheduling interviews, participating in interview panels and contributing to selection decisions.
- Leverage and maintain recruitment data to support efficient, compliant hiring processes.
- Maintain recruitment records, ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Support the analysis of recruitment metrics and contribute insights to improve hiring outcomes.
- Partner with hiring managers and the HR team to enhance recruitment reporting and identify opportunities to streamline processes or improve the candidate journey.
Payroll & Benefits
- Assist with the preparation of monthly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Act as the point of contact for staff benefits, maintain the local benefits SharePoint site ensuring information is to up to date and accurate.
- Liaise with benefit providers to ensure smooth administration, communicate benefits updates and initiatives to staff, track and monitor benefits and leave usage.
Compliance and Regulatory Support
- Support the Fitness & Probity process - ensuring regulatory checks, approvals, declarations and ongoing compliance obligations are administered and monitored.
- Assist with internal and external HR audits.
Reporting, Analytics & Process Automation
- Prepare HR reports, dashboards and metrics for management, analysing HR data to provide actionable insights on trends, supporting evidence-based decision making.
- Partner with the Head of HR and HR Business Partner during committee cycles, preparing papers, reports, and responding to information requests as required.
- Identify manual, repetitive, or inefficient HR processes and contribute to the design and implementation of automated or technology‑enabled solutions.
- Utilise HR analytical systems and tools to extract accurate data to support informed decision-making across the team and wider business.
- Work collaboratively with the HR team and wider HR network to identify opportunities for continuous improvement across HR operations.

- Ability to prepare HR reports or metrics and interpret data to identify trends and support informed decision‑making.
- Confident working with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for analysis and reporting.
- An interest in HR technology, process improvement, and automation, with a practical and solution‑focused mindset.
- A relevant qualification in Human Resources, Business, Analytics or a related area, or equivalent practical experience.
