Purpose of this role
WHSL’s strategy is to attract, develop, and retain
high-performing employees, this role will support the delivery of key HR
functions across the employee lifecycle. As a standalone cover role, you will
be responsible for maintaining and executing established processes, including
talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance management. This position
provides an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to core HR activities.
Please note: This role is temporary and is offered
with no expectation of extension or permanency.
Main Responsibilities

Support
the end-to-end recruitment process, supporting salary benchmarking, screening
candidates, coordinating interviews, and preparing offer documentation.
·
Coordinate
and drive induction and onboarding processes to ensure a smooth and positive
experience for new starters.
·
Organise
and coordinate training activities in line with business requirements and
development needs.
·
Provide
coordination support for the performance management cycle, ensuring
documentation is prepared, timelines are tracked, and follow-ups are completed.

Handling
tasks in a confidential manner, supporting GDPR compliance through proper
record-keeping
·
Provide
first-line support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures,
escalating queries or more complex employee relations matters where
appropriate.
3. Experience and qualification requirements
• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,
or Commerce (graduated in 2025 or 2026).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, as this
is a standalone role.
• Proven HR work placement experience covering areas
such as recruitment, administration, onboarding, performance management, and/or
employee relations.
• Strong understanding of employment law and HR best
practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to
build trust at all levels and handle sensitive information with
confidentiality.
