3 year Japan work contract. Option to renew. Employer will sponsor Japan work visa.
The successful candidate will have endless opportunities to progress and the chance to gain real exposure to a high quality caseload of commercial, intellectual property, regulatory and dispute resolution matters. An excellent and exciting opportunity to work on predominantly international and cross-border disputes. This is a brilliant opportunity to gain experience in this type of work and develop knowledge in international matters.
Duties include assisting Attorneys to prepare and manage client and Firm English language correspondence and documents, editing and proofreading of legal memoranda, opinions, certifications and other legal documents, data entry for tracking and monitoring cases and matters; casefile maintenance and docket management of cases, draft correspondence, reporting letters, case status reports and documents for attorney review.
Candidates must have at least a Bachelor's Degree (any discipline). Japanese language proficiency NOT required.
Candidates must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills, analytical ability, a polished professional image and attitude, the ability to interact positively with clients & co-workers. Attention to detail, ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines, flexibility & resourcefulness are welcome qualities.
Candidate must be self-motivated, congenial & outgoing. We are the ideal workplace for the candidate that will blossom in a fast-paced, intense, high-pressure & deadline intensive environment.
