Role Description
We are looking for a Graduate Design Manager to join
GagaMuller's Graduate Programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent
graduate looking to begin their career in design management and project
delivery within the construction industry.
Working alongside experienced Design Managers, Project
Managers, BIM specialists, and multidisciplinary design teams, you will gain
practical experience supporting the coordination of complex construction
projects from concept through to completion.

The Opportunity
As a Graduate Design Manager, you will support the
coordination and management of multidisciplinary design activities across a
range of construction projects.
Working closely with Design Managers, Architects, Engineers,
BIM teams, Quantity Surveyors, Schedulers, Contractors, and Client
stakeholders, you will assist with design coordination, technical reviews,
project reporting, and stakeholder communication throughout the project
lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Scope & Delivery Management
- Support
Design Managers with coordinating multidisciplinary design activities
across all project stages. - Assist
in monitoring design deliverables and programme milestones. - Review
design documentation to ensure consistency, completeness, and compliance
with project requirements. - Support
technical reviews and coordination of consultant design information. - Assist
with tracking project actions and design deliverables.
2. Stakeholder Coordination
- Work
closely with Architects, Engineers, BIM teams, Contractors, and Project
Managers. - Attend
project meetings, design workshops, and coordination sessions. - Assist
in coordinating information between project stakeholders. - Support
communication of design updates and project progress. - Build
strong working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
3. Risk & Compliance Management
- Support
Design Managers in identifying design risks and coordination issues. - Assist
in monitoring compliance with project standards and client requirements. - Review
RFIs, technical queries, and design changes. - Help
maintain project quality standards and document control procedures. - Support
project governance and change management processes.
4. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare
meeting minutes, project reports, and design trackers. - Maintain
project documentation and coordination records. - Assist
with monitoring design progress against programme milestones. - Support
preparation of presentations and stakeholder reports. - Ensure
accurate project records are maintained throughout delivery.
5. Collaboration & Integration
- Work
collaboratively with Project Management, BIM, Commercial, Construction,
and Scheduling teams. - Support
integration of design activities with project planning and delivery. - Contribute
to digital construction and BIM coordination initiatives. - Assist
with continuous improvement of project delivery processes. - Promote
a collaborative and solutions-focused working environment.
Qualifications
- A
Bachelor's or Master's degree (or expected graduation) in Architecture,
Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering,
Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural
Engineering, or another related AEC discipline. - Strong
communication and organisational skills. - Excellent
attention to detail and willingness to learn. - Good
problem-solving and analytical abilities. - Proficiency
in Microsoft Office applications.
What We Are Looking For
- Recent
graduate or final-year student looking to begin a career in Design
Management. - Interest
in multidisciplinary construction project delivery. - Understanding
of construction design processes and project coordination principles. - Knowledge
of BIM, Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, or similar
