About usEmpiria Partners is a fast-growing M&A advisory start-up. Our mission is to support owner-managed SMEs going through succession, helping founders and families find the right buyer for the business they have built. We also work with investment holdings and private equity-backed platforms pursuing buy-and-build strategies in fragmented sectors.
Founded by professionals from Goldman Sachs, Evercore, PJT, McKinsey and Blackstone, Empiria brings top-tier M&A experience to a part of the market that large advisers rarely serve. After building our presence in Italy, the UK and Spain, we are now launching in Ireland. We are looking for people who know Ireland inside out: you will be Empiria's voice with Irish founders, so we want candidates who understand how Irish business owners think, talk and do business.
ResponsibilitiesYou will work closely with the founding team and take on responsibilities across the full M&A cycle:1. Deal origination: identify and approach owner-managed businesses across Ireland, from Dublin to the regions, through cold calling, email and LinkedIn campaigns. This is the core of the role and it is phone-led: it requires the drive to contact 60+ companies a day. In return, you will speak every day with business owners and private equity investors, with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.2. Company analysis: carry out first assessments of companies, including financial statements and CRO filings, sector dynamics and investment theses.3. Stakeholder relationships: join meetings with SME founders and investors, supporting negotiations and relationship building.
