Marketing Executive
Company Overview
Oxygen Research Institute Ltd. (ORIL) is a Galway-based
global health and wellness business built around one thing: breathing. Founded
by Patrick McKeown — breathing expert, bestselling author, and one of the most
recognised voices in this space anywhere in the world — we operate three brands
that together span sports performance, sleep, clinical health, everyday
wellness and sports performance.
Patrick's work has been featured
on Joe Rogan, Mel Robbins, Diary of a CEO, and Dr Rangan Chatterjee. Buteyko
Clinic International (BCI) brings breathing science into health applications —
sleep, mental health, children's health, asthma, and clinical practice. MyoTape
is our sleep health brand, focused on improving sleep quality and quantity
through nasal breathing. Oxygen Advantage® is our performance brand, trusted by
elite athletes across UFC, NFL, rugby, and Olympic sport.
We are a small team operating at a scale that most
wellness businesses our size never reach. That is what makes this an
interesting place to work.
Role Summary
We are looking for a Marketing
Executive to work across Buteyko Clinic International (BCI) and MyoTape brands.
You will be a hands-on, enthusiastic, and self-directed marketer — equally
comfortable planning a content calendar, writing an email campaign, supporting
a podcast launch, and engaging with a global community of health practitioners.
Reporting to our Ecommerce & Digital Lead, you will be
working across brands on shared campaigns, community activity, and content.
This is a role with real scope and genuine variety in a flat, fast-moving team
where your contribution is visible and your ideas are welcome. We are
predominantly an office-based team with some possibilities for hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media & Content
Creation
Own organic social media across
BCI and MyoTape on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and emerging
platforms. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and maintaining a
rolling content calendar across both brands - Creating content tailored to
each platform and audience — including captions, short-form copy, and visual
concepts - Monitoring engagement,
responding to comments and DMs, and tracking performance metrics - Researching trends and
competitor activity to keep content relevant - Identifying, briefing, and
managing UGC creators and brand ambassador
2. Email Marketing Support
Support our Ecommerce &
Digital Lead with email marketing execution for BCI and MyoTape, working
primarily in Klaviyo. Responsibilities include:
·
Writing and scheduling email
campaigns and contributing to audience segmentation
·
Assisting with the setup and
maintenance of automated email sequences and flows
·
Supporting performance tracking
and flagging opportunities for optimisation
3. Community, Podcast &
Audience Engagement
Act as a key point of contact
for our instructor and professional community on BCI, and play an active role
in growing our podcast presence.
Responsibilities include:
·
Managing inbound enquiries and
communications from our instructor and professional community
·
Supporting podcast episode
launches — coordinating with guests, writing show notes and promotional copy,
and scheduling episode communications
·
Creating and publishing
promotional content for each episode across social and email channels
4. Digital & Physical Event
Support
Support the full marketing
lifecycle of events across BCI and MyoTape — from online masterclasses and paid
clinics through to Patrick's speaking appearances at conferences and our
presence at physical exhibitions and trade stands.
Responsibilities include:
·
Plan and deliver campaigns for
BCI and MyoTape digital and physical events, including masterclasses, paid
clinics, conferences, exhibitions and trade shows.
·
Create and manage event
communications across email and social, including promotional campaigns,
attendee reminders and live event coverage.
·
Manage event landing pages,
registration journeys, attendee communications and promotional assets
·
Coordinate support for Patrick’s
speaking engagements and
trade stand activity, including materials, logistics, pre-event promotion and
on-site brand presentation.
Who We Are Looking For
The person who will thrive here
is genuinely curious about health, wellness, and how people communicate. They
notice why certain content lands and other content falls flat. They are
interested in the space — not just the job.
You do not need a perfect CV.
You do need to be enthusiastic, hard-working, and the kind of person who takes
initiative, sees things through, and cares about doing good work. What we are
looking for:
•
Approximately 3 years of
hands-on marketing experience across social media and email marketing
•
Strong content creation and
copywriting skills — able to write for different brands, platforms, and
audiences
•
Genuine interest in wellness —
the best work here comes from people who connect with what we do
•
Some working knowledge of email
marketing platforms is an advantage
•
Comfortable
using AI tools in day-to-day work — we use them across the business and someone
already curious about them will hit the ground running
•
Background in SaaS, wellness,
health, or education is desirable but not a requirement.
•
Based in Ireland or with
appropriate visa to work here
A degree in
marketing or a related field is useful but not a requirement. We care more
about what you have done and how you think than where you studied.
Why Join Us
There are not many
wellness businesses in Galway — or in Ireland — operating at the scale we are.
When you join Oxygen Research Institute Ltd you are working with brands at the
centre of a global conversation about health, sleep, breathing, and human
potential. The work you produce here reaches a real audience. It matters.
The range of what you will get
your hands on is hard to find elsewhere at this level — email, social,
community, podcast, events, paid media, lead generation, all live and moving at
the same time, with genuine exposure to how a global wellness brand operates
from the inside.
The team is small, the culture is strong, and the people
here genuinely care about the work. Based in Galway, you will also have access
to optional gym sessions with a personal trainer, kitchen facilities on site,
and regular team days throughout the year.
