Role and Responsibilities
You will be working as part of a PJ Hegarty site team to help coordinate and deliver the mechanical, electrical, and sprinkler packages for projects based in the Dublin area. You will also be working closely with the PJ Hegarty building services team and the site personnel to deliver the project to the highest possible standard.
- Reports to Contracts Manager and Building Services manager for allocation of tasks
- Review and report on Mechanical and Electrical systems progression on site, in preparation for testing and commissioning.
- Review and report on area building completions in preparation for testing and commissioning.
- Attend and report at project meetings and whiteboards
- Review and report on Mechanical and Electrical systems quality on site. Work with relevant Mechanical and Electrical contractor leads for identifying and resolving issues
- Complete regular checks of Mechanical and Electrical contractors' installation with the design team specifications and drawings
- Attend and check Mechanical and Electrical aspects of wall/ceiling closure QA/QC checks
- Complete and follow up on closure of temporary electric audits
- Assist in the production and upload of BCAR and Safety File Data documentation
- Work with subcontractors/general workforce on site
