Member Services Representative (MSR) with Lending

JOB TITLE: Member Services
Representative with Lending

TERM: Permanent Full Time, 37.5 hours a
week. 6 day rota basis, Monday to Saturday

OFFICE: Mainguard St./Westside/Oughterard.

REPORTS TO (MANAGER): Office Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

Good
Standard of Education / QFA Qualified or completing the QFA

Personal
Lending experience  - minimum of 2
years experience

OVERALL
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Provides superior and quality member service. Provides
members efficient and accurate transaction processing. Underwriting &
granting of loans in accordance with the Boards guidelines and policies.

Sell
Credit Unions services and provide member referrals for services on a daily
basis.

KEY
TASKS:

1.      Operate as teller to
serve the Credit Unions members by:

o   
Accepting
savings/deposits/loan repayments and withdrawals, verifying cash &
signatures.

o   
Dealing
and processing Foreign Exchange transactions.

o   
Confirming
Members details.

o   
Providing
additional members services including Foreign Exchange

o   
Balances
cash daily

o   
Accepting
payments for all loans

o   
Administration
work such as sending statements, updating members records and other ad hoc
projects.

2.      Escalation of any issues
that impact on customer services.

3.      Makes concentrated effort
to solve member problems.

4.      Promote and maintain
positive relations with all contacts, members and potential members.

5.     
Grant loans within authorised limits and
prepare loan application file for referral to Supervisor, Manager or Credit
Committee.

6.     
Communicate decision on loans to appropriate parties both
verbally and in writing.

7.      Comply with all Credit
Union policies and procedures.

8.      Flexible to work in any
of our branches.

9.      All other duties as
assigned.
