About the Role
Join Manna's dynamic team as an Operations Supervisor! In this essential role within our live operations, you will report to the Operations Manager and play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of our drones. This position places you at the heart of Manna's operational strategy, where your contributions will directly impact our mission to deliver a seamless, cutting-edge and profitable service.


Key Responsibilities
As the Ops Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities, ensuring the smooth execution of drone delivery, and fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and excellence within the operational team.

·       Lead and manage Ground Operations staff, including recruitment, hiring, managing and forecasting staffing levels

·       Monitor daily operations to ensure efficiency and safety standards

·       Track and order inventory and consumables, ensuring adequate supply.

·       Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback

·       Manage staff rosters, annual leave and sick days

·       Own the site PnL and profability metrics for your base

·       Coordinate cross-departmental communication and escalate operational issues to the appropriate teams

·       Implement operational changes and process improvements, following the change management processes

·       Oversee staff onboarding, training, and assessments

·       Supervise and chaperone visitors to ensure compliance with site protocols

·       Process bi-weekly payroll

·       Collaborate with other departments to achieve organisational objectives

Requirements

Skills & Experience

Essential

·       Full Irish driving license (Category B) required

·       A proactive, organised operations professional who thrives in fast-paced environments.

·       A problem-solver who takes initiative and drives continuous process improvement.

·       An effective communicator who collaborates seamlessly across departments.

Desirable

·       Level 8 Degree (or equivalent in a relevant field)

·       A natural leader who motivates teams, sets clear expectations, and fosters a positive culture.

·       Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

·       Comfortable managing a variety of responsibilities, from staffing and training to logistics and documentation.

·       Someone with a growth mindset who is eager to learn, evolve, and support a world-class operational service.
