part time accounts and operations assistant hospitality
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-time Accounts & Operations Assistant to support the back-office administration of a hospitality business, including a traditional bar and related hotel operations.
This role would suit a student or recent graduate in accounting, finance, business, hospitality management, or a related subject who is looking to gain practical experience in a real hospitality business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with daily and weekly sales reconciliation- Checking purchase invoices, supplier statements, and delivery records- Recording stock purchases and basic outgoing expenses- Helping to maintain staff working-hour records and timesheets- Preparing payroll information for review and processing- Liaising with the bar manager regarding purchases, stock, staff hours, and operational records- Organising receipts, invoices, and supporting documents for the accountant- Updating spreadsheets and simple internal reports- Supporting general office and administrative tasks related to the business
The ideal candidate should be organised, reliable, accurate, and comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets. Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills are required. Previous experience in hospitality, bookkeeping, payroll, or administration would be helpful but is not essential, as training can be provided.
This is a part-time role with flexible hours. The exact working schedule can be discussed depending on the candidate’s availability.
