About the role
Syncworx is looking for a motivated student or recent graduate to work directly with the founder across two growing Irish technology platforms: AppointMe.ie and TradesHero.ie.
This is not a typical internship where you'll spend your time observing from the sidelines.
You'll be actively involved in helping grow real technology businesses — speaking with prospective customers, running outreach campaigns, following up leads, helping manage social media accounts and contributing ideas about how we can reach more businesses.
The role would particularly suit someone studying Business, Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Communications or Digital Marketing, although attitude and confidence are more important to us than the name of your degree.
What you'll be doing
- Researching and identifying potential business customers- Contacting businesses through phone, email, Instagram and other channels- Following up with interested leads- Helping arrange product demos and sales calls- Keeping track of prospects and follow-ups- Engaging with businesses through our social media accounts- Helping prepare and schedule Instagram posts, Reels and Stories- Using existing templates and tools to create straightforward social content- Testing different outreach messages and approaches- Feeding back what prospective customers are saying so we can improve our products and marketing
The role will roughly consist of 60% sales and follow-up, 25% social outreach/community engagement and 15% content/social media work.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for somebody who is:
- Confident speaking to people- Comfortable picking up the phone as well as sending emails and DMs- Familiar with Instagram and social media- Organised and good at following up- Able to work independently- Interested in startups, technology, sales or marketing- Comfortable learning new software and AI tools- Based in Ireland
Previous sales experience isn't essential. We'd much rather find someone enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn.
What you'll get
You'll work directly with the founder and get hands-on exposure to how technology products are built, marketed and sold.
You'll gain real experience in:
Sales and business development, digital marketing, social media, startup growth, customer acquisition, CRM and lead management, SaaS products and AI-enabled business tools.
There will also be additional performance bonuses for successful customer conversions, so strong performance will be rewarded.
The initial position will run as a 10-week paid trial, with the intention of continuing the role if it's working well for both sides.
How to apply
Send us your CV along with a short introduction telling us a little about yourself and why this role interests you.
Don't worry about writing a formal cover letter, we'd rather hear a few genuine sentences about why you think you'd be good at the role.
