About us
Licensed community pharmacy in Paget, Bermuda. Small team (3). Hiring a Pharmacist to strengthen bench coverage.
The role
Full-time community pharmacist reporting to the Chief Pharmacist / Pharmacy Manager. You deliver high-quality dispensing and patient care and support daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Review/interpret prescriptions; dispense per Bermuda pharmacy law; counsel patients; advise physicians on interactions
- Compounding (with Chief Pharmacist oversight on new formularies / Rx30 accuracy as required)
- Personalized service to patients, doctors, and insurers we work with
- Blister packs / compliance packaging; patient counselling
- Open/close duties and end-of-day checklist items as assigned
- Help keep stock, compounding supplies, and dispensary supplies available
- Support controlled-drug checks / ordering oversight as delegated
- Maintain a safe, clean dispensary/waiting/storage area; join rota housekeeping
- CPD and professional knowledge for re-registration
- Other duties appropriate to experience as reasonably assigned
Hours
Mon–Fri 08:30–17:30; Sat 09:30–13:00; ~40 hours/week + open/close; unpaid lunch. Probation typically 6 months.
Requirements
- Home-country pharmacist registration in good standing
- Community dispensing competence
- Willing to relocate and complete Bermuda work permit + Council registration
- Strong English
- GPhC / PSI registrants welcome
Package
USD 125,000 gross full-time; medical cost-share; pension contribution after probation; 20 days vacation; public holidays. Relocation support (e.g. economy airfare / modest allowance) case-by-case for overseas hires.
