Quality/Sustainability Systems Lead
Overview
Dansko Foods was established in 1986 and has
developed into a leading supplier of dairy ingredients for industrial use.
The Quality Systems Lead function is to comply
with all relevant legislation and the requirements of all our clients. This
includes but is not limited to: Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Food Safety, Hygiene
and Microbiology. The job holder will be directly accountable for the efficient
management of these activities according to the standards agreed by the
business.
As Sustainability
Lead you will be responsible for overseeing site sustainability programmes.
The Role
Develop, implement and maintain
the Quality Management System in accordance with regulatory requirements (e.g.
HACCP, DAFM and customer standards)
Lead audits and always maintain
an audit ready status.
HACCP team management and
leadership.
Analyse quality trends,
non-conformances, complaints and audit findings.
Conduct root cause analysis
using recognised problem-solving tools.
Identify and implement
continuous improvement opportunities.
Deliver QMS and food safety
training to employees. Ensuring employees understand quality procedures and
compliance requirements.
Monitor and report quality KPIs.
Prepare and keep product
specifications up to date.
Manage the Supplier Approval
process and keep up to date.
Investigate, report on and close
out customer complaints.
Promote a culture of quality,
food safety and continuous improvement.
Maintaining
Origin Green and Repak accreditations.
The Candidate
Dairy industry experience
desirable.
Experience of BRCGS and customer
audits.
A keen eye for detail and a results driven approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to use
relevant MS packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to work under pressure
and to achieve realistic targets and deadlines.
