Are you a recent graduate from TUS Athlone looking to turn your qualification into a rewarding career in civil engineering and construction?

Tower Civil Engineering is seeking a motivated Graduate Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, gain hands-on industry experience and work alongside experienced professionals on a varied portfolio of civil engineering projects.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tender submissions.

• Review construction drawings, specifications and project requirements.

• Carry out quantity take-offs and analyse labour, plant and material costs.

• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.

• Collaborate with our commercial, engineering and project teams throughout the tender process.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Excel.

• A willingness to learn, take initiative and develop commercial expertise.

• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach.

Previous estimating experience is an advantage, but graduates with the right attitude and potential are encouraged to apply.
