Marlin Hotels operates around nine properties across Dublin and London, with more than 1,000 rooms. We run a lean, centralised commercial team covering revenue management, distribution, digital marketing and technology. That means you will sit close to real decisions and see the impact of their work quickly.

The role

You will help decide what Marlin charges, where we sell it and how we win the booking. This is a hands-on seat in the team that sets pricing for 1,000+ rooms across two of Europe's most competitive hotel markets.

You will work on live pricing decisions, demand forecasting, competitor analysis, and channel strategy alongside our revenue managers. You will also own the distribution checks that make sure every strategy lands correctly on every channel.

Key responsibilities

The role spans revenue strategy and insight as well as distribution optimisation.

Pricing and revenue strategy

  • Join daily pricing meetings and help shape rate decisions for each property.

  • Work alongside our revenue management system, reviewing its recommendations and building the case for when to follow or override them.

  • Analyse demand drivers in Dublin and London: concerts, conferences, sports fixtures, airline capacity and seasonality.

  • Help build and test pricing strategies, such as length-of-stay rules, advance purchase offers, and packages.

Market and competitor intelligence

  • Track competitor pricing and positioning across each property's competitor set.

  • Spot gaps and opportunities where we are under or overpriced and bring recommendations to the team.

  • Produce a short weekly market brief on what moved and why.

Channel mix and distribution strategy

  • Analyse booking mix and cost of acquisition by channel

  • Support initiatives to grow direct bookings and improve channel profitability.

  • Help evaluate OTA campaigns and promotions.

Forecasting and reporting

  • Support forecast and budget work, comparing on-the-books business against targets.

  • Build and improve reports and dashboards that the commercial team uses to make decisions.

  • Own one strategic project end to end and present the findings to the commercial leadership team.

Benefits:

  • Additional annual leave per year of service

  • Paid Day Off on your Birthday

  • Paid Day Off for Charity Work

  • Free Eye Test Voucher

  • Cycle to Work Scheme
