Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive lead generation and customer acquisition for our software solutions focused on sole traders, owner-operated businesses, and small companies (up to 10 employees) in Ireland.
This is a commission-based role ideal for an experienced business development professional who understands the Irish SME landscape and is comfortable engaging directly with business owners. Successful candidates will play a key role in building the sales pipeline and closing new customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential sole traders and small business customers across Ireland
- Generate qualified leads through outreach, networking, referrals, and digital channels
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn engagement with prospective customers
- Present and demonstrate software solutions tailored to small business needs
- Build and manage a structured sales pipeline from lead to close
- Maintain accurate records of prospects, activities, and opportunities in the CRM
- Develop strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams based on market insights
