The Department of Climate, Energy and the Environment (DCEE) is responsible for the development and delivery of policies and programmes in the areas of energy, natural resources, climate action, waste, and the environment.
The DCEE is currently seeking Scientific Policy Advisers Grade II – Marine for its Marine Environment and Planning Section. This is an exciting opportunity for talented and ambitious individuals who are looking to embrace new challenges, do purposeful work and make a real difference to the Irish State and its people.
Reporting to a Senior Adviser, the Scientific Policy Adviser Grade II - Marine will work as part of a small team to support the delivery of national strategies and objectives in the marine environment, marine ecology and maritime spatial planning areas. In addition, they will provide technical and scientific advice on specific marine related policy areas.
