Senior Credit Controller
We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to take ownership of the credit control functionwithin a fast-growing organisation. This is a key role focused on cash collection, credit risk management,and continuous improvement of billing and debtor processes.The successful candidate will work closely with the finance team, sales, and senior management to ensurestrong cash flow, disciplined credit control, and excellent client engagement.
Key Responsibilities• Full ownership of the accounts receivable and credit control function• Proactive management of debtor balances, ensuring timely collections and reduced DSO• Credit risk assessment, customer credit limits, and ongoing account reviews• Liaising with internal stakeholders to resolve billing and query issues efficiently• Preparation of aged debt reports and cash collection forecasts for management• Driving improvements in credit control processes, controls, and systems• Mentoring or supporting junior finance team members where required• Ensuring adherence to company policies and internal controls
Key Requirements• Proven experience in a senior credit control or accounts receivable role• Strong understanding of credit risk, collections strategies, and customer engagement• Excellent communication and negotiation skills• High level of attention to detail with strong organisational skills• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-driven environment• Strong Excel and accounting system experience• Experience in a B2B environment desirable
