Senior Economist - Higher Executive Officer

The Person

Reporting
to the Head of Regulation and Compliance the successful candidate will work as
part of the team responsible for delivering policy and economic analysis to the
HIA and the Department of Health.  The
team also supervises the compliance of registered undertakings with the
regulations.

Excellent
interpersonal skills are essential, as well as a proven high degree of
initiative, flexibility and creativity, organisation and problem-solving
skills.

Essential Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Economics,
  or a related discipline and significant relevant professional experience.
• Proven track record of public
  policy analysis.
• Demonstrable written communication
  skills, and an ability to write for a variety of audiences;
• The ability to work on their own
  initiative.
