Senior Quality Coordinator

The Quality Systems &
Compliance Senior Assistant/ Quality Coordinator supports the Quality
Department in maintaining quality standards, ensuring compliance with company
procedures, customer requirements, and relevant regulatory standards. The role
involves monitoring quality systems, conducting inspections and audits,
investigating non-conformances, and providing guidance to quality team members.

Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation and
maintenance of quality records within the  
electronic Quality Management System (QMS) and its improvement.

Conduct quality inspections
and verify compliance with specifications and standards.

Monitor production processes
to ensure products meet quality requirements.

Maintain accurate quality
records, reports, and documentation.

Assist and participate in preparing for internal,
customer, and regulatory audits.

Review production and quality
data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Support training of employees
on quality procedures and standards.

Ensure compliance with
relevant industry regulations, company policies, and health and safety
requirements.

Collaborate with production, maintenance
and hygiene teams to maintain product quality.

Assist the Quality Manager
with continuous improvement initiatives.

Customer Complaint/ CAPA Management

Receive, assess, and process product complaints
from customers.

Gather and document relevant information to support
complaint investigation activities. Support timely complaint reporting and
documentation compliance.

Contribute to root cause analysis and CAPA
activities.

Assist with effectiveness checks and documentation
of results.

Support implementation of corrective and preventive
actions.

Reporting & Supplier Quality Support

Maintain Quality KPIS, and performance trackers.

Analyse data accuracy and identify discrepancies
for correction.

Assist with supplier quality documentation review,
and audit readiness activities.

Prepare routine reports and quality data summaries
for stakeholders.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Quality, or a
related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience
in a quality assurance or quality control role.

Excellent understanding of
quality systems and auditing processes.

Strong knowledge of quality
standards relevant to the industry (e.g. BRC, GMP, HACCP.)

Good understanding of Customer
requirements with regards to specification portals.

Experience working in a manufacturing industry.

Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and
electronic quality systems

Experience supporting customer complaints, CAPA,
document control, quality records, or audit activities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications,
including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience supporting supplier quality programs,
SCARs, or quality agreements.

Experience with AI-enabled productivity tools and
statistical software such as Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, or Minitab.

Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and
project coordination skills.
