Social Care Worker
Job description:
-One to one support for children, young people, parents and vulnerable adults
-Support families to sustain safe care of their children at home
-Support foster families to maintain and strengthen placements
-Supervise access visits between children in and their families
-Provide emergency supports for children without placement
-Assist young adults transitioning from care to living independently
-Prepare detailed reports for child protection meetings and court proceedings
-Promote independent living for individuals with disabilities
-Collaborate with social workers, guardian ad litem, and other professionals/agencies
-Maintain standards to ensure the safety and welfare of children/vulnerable adults
Essential requirements:
-Full clean driving licence and use of own car
-Minimum level 7 qualification in social care or equivalent
-Passion for helping young people and families
-Experience is beneficial but not required. New graduates are welcome and will be fully supported
-Must be CORU registered or eligible for CORU registration
